Stichting ALS Nederland zet zich in voor het vinden van de oorzaak en oplossingen voor de dodelijke spierziekte ALS. Om de oorzaak van deze slopende ziekte en een medicijn te vinden is er geld nodig, veel geld. Daarom organiseert Stichting ALS Nederland jaarlijks het sportieve evenement Tour du ALS, om zoveel mogelijk geld in te zamelen voor de strijd tegen ALS.

Tour du ALS is the largest event organized by the ALS Netherlands Foundation. Under the slogan “Get on your feet to beat ALS” , hundreds of cyclists, runners and hikers climb the Mont Ventoux together with ALS patients. All participants, volunteers, patients, donors and attendees contribute in the steps towards finding the cause of ALS and ultimately a medicine.
